Paint Making Workshop 3, 4 & 10 August 2013
Presented by Artist and Paint Specialist Herman Jansen van Vuuren
An incredible and exciting series of workshops in how to make Artist's paints, inks
and pastels. It is easy, cheaper and the colours are greater and more vivid compared to
commercial Artist's paints.
Artists will realise that when they prepare their own paints, they have the potential
for greater control and variety of effects and combination of paints that suits
their preference that is not possible to achieve with commercially manufactured paints.
Herman Jansen will provide artists the basic knowledge to experiment freely and produce
their own paint media at a fraction of the cost of premixed commercial paints.
He will demonstrate how painters can enjoy an easy process of mixing the substances
as part of their creative process in creating their piece of art.
